Makers always try to imagine a better world. And when they can’t, they imagine devices that can teleport them to new worlds!
This was the case of Rima, our #MilieuxMake Undergraduate Fellow for 2018. Through various iterations, she recreated the Rick and Morty portal device. The replica lights up and whenever the button is pressed, it sends Rima wherever she wants to go!
Through this experience, Rima learned how to design 3D models, how to print them, how to program using the Arduino IDE, and how to connect various electronic hardware components.
