Over the past year, we have built five different 3D printers models (create a page for the project) with members of the community. We build DIY kits that we fine-tune and improve by building better parts and components with the same 3D printers. We also experiment with various materials, such as copper, bronze, aluminum and magnetic filaments.
Dr. Ann-Louise Davidson is an Associate Professor of Education and Concordia University Research Chair in Maker Culture. She is the Director of the Concordia University Innovation Lab. She is also Associate Director of the Milieux Institute for Arts, Culture and Technology and she directs #MilieuxMake, the Milieux makerspace initiative.
